About Dr. Jack Train

First and foremost, Dr. Jack Train is a loving husband, father to four wonderful children and grandfather to seven beautiful grandkids and four grand-dogs. He has been practicing dentistry for over 35 years in Scarborough, Ontario at his practice, Dentistry at Consilium. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Ontario Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontics, Crown and Bridge Study Club, Alpha Omega Dental Society, Toronto Dental Society and Monterey Bay. Dr. Train has lectured at York University, the University of Toronto and Humber College.
He is also a professional trumpet player and has proudly been published in Canadian Musician, Allegro, Crescendo and International Musician. Dr. Train is a member of the John Hood Big Band, and has been in the trumpet section (four trumpets) for 20 years.
He loves to spend his time at the cottage in Muskoka making jam with his wife Andrea and planting trees. Over the years, Dr. Train has planted over 4,000 tree seedlings, some of which are now 25-30 feet high. Another one of Dr. Train’s passions is skiing in the winter with his grandchildren, in Collingwood, Ontario and Vail, Colarado.
